  1. WnBrowse 3.2 - Release Notes

  4.   This release of WnBrowse is primarily a bug fix. However, I have also
  5.   added a couple of new features.
  6.  
  7.   Bugs Fixed :

  10.   1) BWCC.DLL Problem
  11.  
  12.      BWCC.DLL is used by Borland applications to help produce the 
  13.      distintive dialogs and message boxes. It is also used by developers
  14.      to give their programs the same 'Borland look'. Unfortunately, early
  15.      versions had a few bugs. The WnBrowse colour dialog previously had 
  16.      code to circumvent one such bug. However, the latest version of BWCC
  17.      has fixed this problem, but in the process causes WnBrowse to crash
  18.      when the colour dialog is used. I have changed the code so that
  19.      WnBrowse now works correctly with the latest BWCC. I have also
  20.      shipped the latest copy of BWCC.DLL. If you run WnBrowse with an old
  21.      copy of BWCC, the colour dialog may not work correctly. Specifically,
  22.      the 'Sample Text' box will not be coloured.

  24.   2) When running WnBrowse 3.1 under Windows 3.0, the font size is not 
  25.      being saved correctly. This version fixes this problem.

  27.   3) When opening files with a very long path name, WnBrowse was saving
  28.      the path name incorrectly. This was preventing the Next/Previous
  29.      file support to fail.

  31.   4) The date and times displayed in the ZIP information display are now
  32.      formatted according to the control panel international options.
  33.  
  34.   5) The Open, Save As, and Select Font dialog boxes are now drawn using
  35.      the Borland 'Steel' look. You may notice that some of the static
  36.      fields on these dialogs are not the correct length. As I use the
  37.      dialogs provided by Microsoft, this 'Sloppy' look is beyond my control.

  42.   Two new menu items have been added :

  44.   Save As    : On the File menu, is used to save selected text to a 
  45.                file.

  47.   Select All : On the Edit menu, is a quick way to select the entire
  48.                file.
